Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets baseball have a rich tradition of being solid and enjoyable to watch. It has given birth to a number of Major League Baseball players including Jason Varitek, Matt Wieters and Adam Duvall.

Home Field
They are based in Atlanta, and plays at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium. Home to generations of fans across the bridge from campus is this old ballpark on Georgia Tech’s sprawling campus. That the atmosphere was hostile to anyone visiting and that the fans do get under your skin.
Recent History
The Georgia Tech baseball program has been hit or miss in recent years. They have performed well and tussled at a high level in a very difficult ACC. Of course, they also have had some rebuilding years and inconsistencies.

A couple of the keys to Georgia Tech having bright future:
- Recruiting: Attracting the best college baseball players is essential for any program. The Jackets have no choice but to keep locating, identifying and drafting players capable of contributing immediately and evolving into stars
- Coaching: A quality coaching staff is integral to player development and team success. Coaches in Georgia Tech are challenged to guide players to their ceiling with guidance, mentorship and strategy.
- Support of the fans: A dedicated fan base can provide a home field advantage and encourage players. Russ Chandler Stadium is super fun and a huge portion of that can be attributed to the home Jackets fans.

Georgia Tech baseball has been heading in the right direction, which means more great seasons and more exciting games for fans to remember. With a history, good players, and a solid fan base the Jackets are going to be in the college baseball picture for many years in the future.
